Installation method and precautions of brake disc
When the brake disc has scratches or excessive wear, it can cause brake pedal vibration or front end vibration. At this time, a new brake disc needs to be replaced. Usually, two coaxial discs need to be replaced at the same time to ensure that the two wheels can achieve the same braking effect.
Warning: The use of inferior brake pads can affect the braking performance of vehicles or cause abnormal wear and tear of brake discs. In the process of braking, screams and pedal vibration are produced.
How long does the brake disc need to be replaced?
Theoretically speaking, the maximum wear limit of the brake disc is less than 2 mm, and a new brake disc must be replaced after it is used to the limit. However, in actual use, most of the car owners have not strictly implemented this standard, and the frequency of replacement should also be measured according to their driving habits. The roughly measured standards are as follows:
Precautions before and after replacement of brake pads
First of all, we should check whether the brake pads are pure accessories (i.e. supporting products), the completeness of product packaging, anti-counterfeiting marks and packaging marks are consistent with the brake pads, and whether the product model is consistent with the content of the certificate. Before lifting the vehicle, the cover with brake oil should be opened and the tire screw should be loosened at the angle. When using simple Jack support, the jack should be well supported and the wheels without changing brake pads should be reinforced. Remove the tire, loosen the clamp fastening screw, and check the screw, clamp sliding guide rod, remove the sediment and oil on it, and lubricate it for maintenance. Remove the old brake pad, check the wear degree of the brake disc, whether it is grooved or not. Serious wear (3 mm deep on one side) should be replaced with new brake discs, whose cycle is 80,000-120,000 km, otherwise the wear of new brake discs will be accelerated, and the direction of braking will fluctuate and the braking force will be too small.
It is worth noting that when installing new brake pads, the inside and outside should be distinguished, and the friction surface of the brake pads should be directed to the brake disc to make the disc fit properly. Fix the attachment and clamp the clamp body. Before fastening the clamp body, the plug on the clamp is pushed back by the tool (or special tool) so that the clamp can be installed in place. If the brake pads on drum brakes need to be replaced, it is suggested that professional personnel should be invited to operate the drum brakes in a professional maintenance plant in order to avoid errors.
After installing the brake, the tire should be reset. When installing the tyre screw, the angle should be tightened, which is beneficial to protecting the tyre and brake wheel hub. At the same time, it is also necessary to check whether the tread and edge wear is normal. It is better to replace the left and right wheels regularly, which will help prolong the service life of tires. Finally, the brake fluid needs to be checked. Brake fluid should be replaced and added regularly. At the same time, the brake fluid used should be guaranteed to be the same as the original brake fluid. This will help to remove the grease and dirt in the brake pipeline and make the brake more sensitive. If different brake fluids are mixed, chemical changes will occur, sludge and inorganic salts will be deposited in the brake system. Over the years, pipelines will be blocked, resulting in brake failure, and the consequences are unimaginable.
Before driving out of position, apply force to press on the brake empty until it feels that the brake has returned to a solid ideal state, at this time, the normal driving out position can be achieved.
 Cautions for commissioning
 The new brake disc needs to run in. The method is to speed up to 50KM per hour, tap the brake 20 times, and stop each time with a small time gap to prevent the brake disc from overheating.
Warning: It is forbidden to use drastic braking methods for test run, and unnecessary braking should be avoided in the initial 60KM to ensure that the contact surface between brake disc and brake pad runs in correctly.
